This digital cooking thermometer with a probe is designed to cook meats according to your preferred level of doneness, eliminating the need for guesswork. The preset settings for beef, veal, lamb, pork, and poultry, which cover rare, medium-rare, medium, and well-done levels, as well as one open setting that can be customized to your desired temperature, make it simple to select the ideal cooking temperature.
To use the thermometer, simply insert the stainless steel probe into your meat, attach the probe to the base unit located outside the oven or barbecue, and select the appropriate meat and doneness level. The large LCD readout displays the internal temperature of the food during the cooking process. When the desired temperature is reached, a loud alarm will sound, alerting you. Additionally, the thermometer provides a pre-alert when the meat approaches the set temperature, counts down a 3-minute rest period, and warns you if the meat is overcooked.
For easy viewing, the thermometer features a flip-top display and a magnetic wall mount. The on/off button helps conserve battery life. The probe's comfort grip handle and sealed design prevent moisture damage, and the 43-inch high-heat silicone cord ensures flexibility and ease of use. The extra-thin tip of the probe creates a smaller puncture hole when sampling, minimizing impact on the texture and appearance of the meat.
The thermometer has a temperature range of 32°F to 392°F (0°C to 200°C), making it suitable for a wide variety of cooking applications. It is a product of China and is preset to monitor meat temperatures without the need to open oven doors. The silicone comfort grip can withstand temperatures up to 650°F, and the flat-base design allows the thermometer to be placed on a surface for easy reading.
