The rack is crafted from Moso bamboo, a durable and sustainable material that is gentler on knives than plastic and easier to clean and maintain than hardwood. As a grass, bamboo's roots remain and quickly regrow after harvest, making it an environmentally friendly choice. The Moso bamboo used by Totally Bamboo is also not part of the panda's diet.
When not in use, this dish drying rack can fold down to under 4 inches high for easy storage. It measures 18-5/8" x 13-3/4" x 10" when fully extended. To care for the rack, simply hand wash or wipe with a damp cloth. Do not soak in water or wash in the dishwasher.
